To begin with, Pastor Raymond E. Allen, Sr. was born December 10, 1959, in Houma, LA.  He was reared in a Christian home with two sisters.  He graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1977 in Houma, LA He continued his education at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA and received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies under the leadership of the late great Alvin Batiste.  Rev. Allen has performed with many great and famous musical talents around the country, but the greatest blessing was when he was called to preach the Gospel in 1990.  Rev. Allen married Cheryl Wilson on November 18, 1989 and two months later began preaching and teaching the Gospel everywhere he could.  The Lord blessed Rev.  Allen’s Ministry mightily.  He has been successfully pastoring for over 25 years and as a powerful, practical, and pious position concerning God’s Ministry, he trusts the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  One of Pastor Allen’s moto is that “the Lord will bless him while he produces for God’s kingdom.”  Also, Rev. Allen has successfully retired from teaching in the public-school system where he taught Special Education and Music Education. He has received many awards, commendations, accolades, and First Place Band competition awards.  He was nominated for teacher of the year and has served in many capacities in the public-school system.  The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree, because all five of Rev.
